Refund & Cancellation Policy

Version 1.0Effective 2026-07-03

This policy explains when refunds and cancellations apply on clazz.lk, operated by Panoralink Business Solutions (pvt) Ltd (PV 00286766). It should be read with our Wallet / Account-Balance Terms.

1. When a Teacher Cancels or We Fail to Deliver

If an educator cancels a scheduled class, or a purchased item cannot be delivered because of a fault on our side, you are entitled to a refund of the amount paid. Refunds are credited to your clazz.lk account balance by default. Where required by applicable consumer law, you may instead request a refund to your original payment method.

2. Change-of-Mind on Digital Content

Live classes, recordings, courses and quizzes are digital services delivered immediately.

Because live classes, recordings, courses and quizzes are digital content supplied and accessed immediately, by starting, streaming or accessing the content you agree that supply has begun and that any cancellation or "cooling-off" right you may otherwise have is waived once access has started. This does not affect your right to a refund where content is not delivered, is faulty, or is materially different from its description.

3. Per-Month Classes

Where a class is sold per calendar month, cancelling part-way through a paid month does not create a pro-rata refund entitlement unless the class was not delivered.

4. Failed or Duplicate Payments

If a payment fails at the gateway but you were charged, or you are charged twice for the same item, the excess is reversed to your account balance (or to source where required) once verified.

5. Gift Vouchers & Promotional Credit

Amounts funded by gift vouchers or promotional credit are non-refundable to cash and may be restricted to specific educators or uses, as stated when issued.

6. Teacher-Direct Payments

Where you pay an educator directly, refund requests for that payment are handled with that educator; we will assist where we reasonably can.

7. How to Request a Refund

Contact support@clazz.lk with your account ID and the item concerned. We aim to review valid requests promptly. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under Sri Lankan consumer law.

Governing Law & Regulatory Framework

Nothing in this clause limits any right or remedy a consumer has under the Consumer Affairs Authority Act No. 9 of 2003.
